🌹 Want to get more creative? Want to meet fellow crafters? Longing for a break from screens? Join me for a crochet workshop 🌹
I believe that crochet is best taught and practised in a community setting. It can be intimidating at first, but with some simple techniques and a little help you will be able to make your own clothes and accessories from scratch. How cool and rewarding is that!
We will work on the same (beginner-friendly) project together and I will be there to guide you every step of the way. The beauty of crochet is that it embodies slow fashion, so do not expect a finished masterpiece by the end of the workshop ;) Hopefully you'll continue crafting at home and see your project through to completion!

🐰 Suited for absolute beginners (even if you’ve never seen or touched a crochet hook in your life)
🐰 Materials (hook plus two skeins of cotton yarn), an absolute beginner-friendly pattern, tea and snacks are all included in the price
🐰 The workshop takes place at workshop studio Studio Creatief in Amsterdam-West, Orteliusstraat 151.
🐰 The teacher speaks both Dutch and English and can teach both righthanded and lefthanded participants.
Please mind that the workshop will proceed only with a minimum of 3 participants. Participants will be notified on time and refunds/rescheduling options will be provided :) Have a look at my cancellation policy before making a booking, just in case!

Weera is a really kind and funny person and a good teacher. She has a lot of patience and can deal with five struggling people all asking for her attention :). I also really liked the different kind of people coming to the workshop, it was a really mixed group with a lot of different vibes. Would totally do it again. Learned a lot!

I had a lovely time at the beginner's course! It covered a lot of base techniques and other relevant information, which allowed me to confidently pick up a project afterwards. Also, Weera created a very warm and encouraging atmosphere in her classes - even though it was a group setting, she would also personalize the approach for each student. Would highly recommend!
